The Reel McCoy charter boat and its crew are ready to show you an epic day of fishing in the “Fishing Capital of the World”: Islamorada, in the Florida Keys.

Captain George is the owner and operator of The Reel McCoy which docks at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina. In the years we've been in business, countless fish have been caught and many fishing tournaments have been won.

George and his crew use their experience and determination to make your day exciting and memorable. George has been fishing throughout the East coast and Caribbean since he was a young boy.

The Reel McCoy is a 46’ Markley which was re-powered with two 500 horse power Cummins engines for a more comfortable and faster ride. The cabin has an eating area and two leather couches for all day comfort. The central A/C keeps the cabin cool and gives you a nice break from the Florida heat. There is a refrigerator on board and a separate cooler for drinks. The cockpit is very well rigged for the type of fishing we do in the Florida Keys. We prefer to use live bait as much as possible to ensure a better catch. On either side of the boat are comfortable fighting chairs and two in deck live wells for a more spacious cockpit. We have an extensive amount of tackle from 10 lb to 80 lb test and fly rods for the avid fly fisherman.

On any given day The Reel McCoy can see and catch several different species of fish. In the Keys we have a likelihood of catching, depending on the time of year, Sailfish, Swordfish, Marlin, Mahi-Mahi, King Fish, Cobia, Grouper, Snapper, Amber Jack, Tuna, Permit and Wahoo.
